A 33-year-old man from Wathugedara, Ambalangoda, has been taken into custody after a micro pistol and live ammunition were discovered hidden in his home. This arrest was made after officers from the Akmeemana Special Task Force (STF) received a tip-off. Initial investigations suggest that the suspect was planning to sell the weapon to another group. The Ambalangoda Police are continuing to look into the matter.
