Two people lost their lives in a head-on motorcycle crash in the Attawilluwa area of Puttalam last night (13), according to police reports. The incident happened when two motorcycles collided directly, but the details leading to the crash are still unclear. Both riders suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital for care. One of the injured motorcyclists died after being admitted to Puttalam Hospital, while the other passed away during transport to Colombo National Hospital for additional treatment. Police also reported that two passengers on the motorcycles were hurt and have been admitted to Puttalam Hospital. Investigations are ongoing to find out what caused the accident, police stated.
