Husband axed to death by wife in Valaichchenai

A 46-year-old man was killed with an axe in the Valaichchenai–Vahaneri area, according to police reports. The attack happened yesterday morning (15), and the man, who lived in Vahaneri, died at the scene. Police say the incident arose from a fight between the man and his wife. During the argument, the man allegedly tried to hit his wife with a sharp object. In response, she struck him with an axe, causing deadly wounds. The 42-year-old woman, who is believed to have attacked him, has been taken into custody by the police. The Valaichchenai Police are continuing their investigation into this case.
