A planned trip to Sri Lanka has been postponed to prioritise his recovery and well-being. Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘King’ marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan, who was last seen in Netflix’s ‘The Archies’. The film also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma, promising a high-octane drama with an ensemble cast. While the production delay has altered timelines, anticipation around ‘King’ remains high. Fans continue to express their support for SRK, wishing him a speedy recovery as the team eyes a smooth restart later this year. Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was initially scheduled to arrive in Colombo on August 2 as a special guest for the opening ceremony of “City of Dreams Sri Lanka.” However, the organisers later issued a statement confirming that he will no longer be visiting the country as planned. According to the statement, the actor’s visit has been cancelled due to unavoidable personal reasons.
