4 Sri Lankans injured in Israel trying to video Iranian attack in Dimona
Four Sri Lankans have been taken to the hospital after getting hurt while trying to film the Iranian attack in Dimona, Israel, as confirmed by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel. During the attack, these individuals were in a public space instead of seeking safety in a secure area while recording the event, which has been shared on social media. According to Nimal Bandara, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, all four suffered injuries from broken glass from nearby buildings, with glass shards hitting their heads and other body parts. The Ambassador noted that this action goes against the safety guidelines given by Israeli security officials. He also stressed that when people hear sirens—which warn of an incoming missile attack three minutes in advance—they should quickly move to a safe place and find shelter.
