A 59-year-old man was killed with a mammoty in the Alliyawatta area of Kopay. Police have identified the victim as a resident of Central Kopay. Initial investigations suggest the attack happened after a fight between the victim and some neighbors escalated. Authorities have arrested two suspects, aged 37 and 63, related to the murder. The body has been sent to the morgue at Jaffna Hospital after a Magistrate's examination. Kopay Police are continuing their investigation to find other suspects involved in the incident.
