2025 O'L examination to begin tomorrow at over 3,500 centres

The 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination is set to start tomorrow, February 17. The Department of Examinations reports that 451,463 students will take the exam across 3,545 centres throughout Sri Lanka. The exams will run from tomorrow until February 26, 2026. A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage, the Commissioner General of Examinations, emphasized that students should arrive at their exam centres at least an hour before the exam begins. Additionally, Professor Miyuru Chandradasa, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist from the Faculty of Medicine in Ragama, advised students to stay calm and relaxed today as they prepare for their exams.
