Three dead after abutment wall collapses in Ahangama

Three people lost their lives when an abutment wall and a pile of dirt fell on them at a construction site in the Pelassa region of Ahangama, according to the Ahangama Police. The tragic event took place while the three workers were building the structural wall, which unexpectedly collapsed, trapping them beneath the rubble. After the incident, the victims were taken to Gonnagahena Hospital, where they later died from their injuries, as reported by Ada Derana.
