We had the military man power strength and the resources to defeat the LTTE from the beginning. Our former political leaders wanted to settle this issue peacefully so that to save many lives and the war expenses. We are not in a position to wage armed war against anybody.
Mahinda simply ordered to wage the war to annihilate the LTTE and to get the political upper hand.This could have been done by anybody at anytime in his position.He does not care what will happen to the country as long as he can remain in the power.If Gota is so patriotic and love the country why does he leave the services and go oversees. Nothing other than opportunism. Now Mahinda is planning to fill the members from his siblings. Worse than Chandrika.What a pathetic situation. Today the parliament is a Achcharu haliyak. Jumbo cabinet with mixture of all party members. Mainly JHU and JVP holding the rein to control the GOSL. Since the war many attempts had been made to impress the public of economical success. In reality country is in the journey to bankruptcy. Today, tomorrow and up to the next general election they will beat this war success durum to fool the Sri Lankans. What else do they have to say other than this. |
