The annual colours night of the Sinha Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army was held under the patronage of Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya today at the Bishop s College Auditorium.

The Sad part about this pic is, the person who led Singha Regiment with the belief that we can win this war and didnt give up the fight with the LTTE is in jail... :(((
The present regiment commander who never believed we can win this war all through out is leading the regiment!! Btw he is the best buddy of Army commander...:(((((

Today this 'Great Regiment' became a 'Step Child' of the Srilankan Army. It is very sad. It is like a 'Ship' with out a 'Captain'. 'Gamunu' and 'Sinha' regiments made a magnificient 'Tasks' in the 'Battle Field' to wipe out 'LTTE TERRORISM' on our motheland. But there is a beautiful saying in Englisg Language, for them.

Colours nights are held annualy, even in the war period. This is noting to do with SF's absance. |
