| | Blue field Tea Centre Friday, 25 May 2007 - 5:51 PM SL Time | | | Obliging to the request by Zaharan I publish the other photos of the Blue Field Tea Centre, Nuwaraeliya.
As you can see it is an interesting place to visit, if you travel from Kandy to Nuwaraeliya. If you start from Colombo in the morning in a vehicle, this is an ideal place to stop for lunch. (The food is excellent)This is about 5 km after Keppetipola.
The nearby factory can be visited by making a fee. They will show the entire process of making tea.
I do not think you have a similar place anywhere in the hill country.
Zaharan, I am sorry I cannot publish more photos than these because I do not want to share any private information, given the unethical behaviours I have seen from some of the members here.

I thought Keppetipola is in between the N'Eliya and Bandarawela!
You must be talking about Pussalawa

Pera,
You are right. Keppetipola is between N'Eliya and Bandarawela. There is a scenic route to Haputhale from Kappetipola. I have driven through that and it is one of the most beautiful roads that I have driven. Edited By - PachchaSira - 25 May 2007 15:42:00 GM |

Pachasira and Pardon,
Yes, I also took that road numorous times. For me, the CTB bus depot of Keppetipola is one of the most beautiful government institutions in Sri lanka.
Cheers

You are absolutely right, some members do post all rubbish and completely irrelevant to the subject, it's a shame. |

True. It was Pussellava. I stand corrected.
