Another foreigner mourning about Sri Lanka.

I think Anud is suffering from Alzheimer

What do you mean by foreigner? None of my forefathers came to Sri Lanka in a dingy boat from La La Land.

AnuD,

YOu are the best person to discuss this with.

Let me first say that I don't care whether the egg came first or the hen came first and also whether Rama rules or Ravana rules.

But..most importantly what matters is peace and harmony..live and let live and due respect to others' feelings and rights.

We just can't go by the numerical strength and believe that the numbers could be used to oppress people. This is where things went wrong from the time of independance. A wrong judgment by the majority. I don't blame nationalism but what ruins is racism. If you have nationalism then tamils too have it.

Had there been no cheap stunts in SL politcs purely for selfish reasons, or wrong end of nationalism, the story of SL would have been very different today.

All what matters to me is the preservation of due rights of every one. When I argue for the Tamils I do that not because that I am a Tamil but I sincerely and true to my heart feel that there is injustice done to the Tamils and is still continued to be done.

Not a single sinhala leader has the courage or wisdom to say a word of sympathy for the suffering Tamils and how could any one expect the Tamils to feel as SRI LANKAN?

So we will not worry about who came first and who came last, and in a civilized world that is not the issue but the issue is how well people respect and protect each others rights and privilages. Our success or failure only depends on that.

NADA:

YOu talk ONLY about tamils.

You don't talk about Sri Lanka. Probably, YOu don't know about Sri Lanka OR YOu don't care about Sri Lanka (I mean not the land, people). You just care about tamils.

Because, I can not assume that you don't know or you don't understand. So, in that case, I have to say, you are dishonest.

I know genuine tamil problems. One day, I told one tamil here. That is as the tamils were the minority, tamils were converted to christians and were promoted over Sinhala buddhists by Colonial masters.

So, Later, after independance, when it came to tamil against tamils, JAffna tamils, Vellalaha, had the opportunity to exploit other tamils.

On the other hand, among sinhala, caste problem was overcome by British promoting lower castes over the Kandian Radalas. so, we did not have the same problem after the independance.

That is how Tamils suffered. that can be over come with economic opportunities.

Otherwise, blaming sinhala is political CRAP.

That supports only the DRAVIDEAN SUPREMACY THEORY to build a homeland.

This reporter is bitter towards the Sri Lanka government. His/Her bias is obvious. These are the low-life scumbags who make a living by feeding in to any conflict in the world.

They never challenge the bad guys, but try to appear strong by writing against government forces be it Sri Lanka or any other country. They know that there is no threat to their lives as long as they appease the terrorist.

Back in 2002, when Prabakaran gave his so called 'media intervies' these 'reporters' had no freedom at all, they were prepared to be blind-folded and taken on hours-long drives and taken to a bunker to be told what to write. They could never question anything, but they reported prabakaran's words without adding foot notes.

These bastards have no love for anybody, all they know is they NEED the conflict to continue, for them to have a job. So they don't want to hear any ending to terrorism, they are against it !

We just can't go by the numerical strength and believe that the numbers could be used to oppress people.

but they can lol its called democracy and it means that you lose got it? Why don't all of you people just go whack off to something else? I mean really, lets speak reality here. We are winning. Period. Not just militarily but morally and with the tamil people too! Everyone is tired of war on the island, and the true tamil who lives on the ground just wants to be able to feed his family. He doesn't give a crap about Prabha and blowing up people because he knows things only get harder for him. Prabha has taken too long, taken all the wrong steps, made all the bad decisions for too many years for real tamils on the ground to care about him. Peace at any cost, even with GOSL is something they'd gladly accept. This hurts LTTE lovers like you. Thats why you attack Anud, because he is the epitome of our victory, and you think by attacking him it will make you feel better. Online you feel like a majority sometimes don't you? Just keep feeding yourselves lies :)

SLDF havw to assume that every JOurnalist is biased. SO, they have to organize this events accordingly.

Once they find supportive journalists, they should be given other means to reach for news and also to get what we want.

As NADA said, the GERMAN - speaking shopkeeper should be a LTTE - MOLE. He should be taken out.

NADA, there are no tamils who talk about peace and harmony when LTTE blow up Negegoda. that includes you.

then everyone talk about Political solution.

IF you people are really peace loving honest people you should first ask LTTE to stop violence.

LTTE keep on killing and all others come and talk political solutions. Don't expect that under a democracy except with the GUN. SOUTH won't give into that except over their dead bodies.

That is also difficult. We are 17 millions there.

Sri Lanka has 15000 registered INGOs/NGOS all trying to solve the Sri Lankan problem

What for ?

My observation is that proud SLAF alone could be used to keep the LTTE taking to to their heels..

It is very visible here today.

All the tamil members need 'KOHILA curry'
