I know a Sinhala guy, born and bred in UK and he openly says that he hates Tamils because they bombed some Sinhalese places. He didnt mention hating only LTTE, but all Tamils. This guy could not speak a word of Sinhala language, just like like Solomon Banda at the time he started the leadership. All GOSL supporters (and especially AnuDUD) would love to see these kind of characters here on LNP!

| I think Velu is going for all or nothing deal. He is heading towards nothing. If he declares now that he is willing to settle for a quasi-fedral arrangement, there will be lot of pressure on GOSL from all corners. Instead, he is silent and blabbering about eelam. In the process, he will end up with nothing. Revised eelam map is heading towards another revision. This time, they have to erase adampan. Velu is stubborn and not willing to compromise which will lead to his demise and the end of the struggle. |

Ironically everyone else ownes a bit of lanka (economically) than the sinhala themselves.

Rather than just typing rhetorics here, you may contribute to proud SLA either by helping 'injured' soldier families or the families of soldiers on duty. One is 'disabled' and the other can't 'serve' the family anyways. lolz

If he declares now that he is willing to settle for a quasi-fedral arrangement, there will be lot of pressure on GOSL from all corners
before peace talks, North and East should be merged. Simply because Tamil majority areas should not be divided. Also there are differnt types of federal models. One that would suit Tamils in SL would be one that has more autonomy than the Indian federal states. Levels of autonomy lower will not lead to permanent peace, and therefore will not be accepted by Tamils. But GOSL will never go this far to devlove power, and certainly not give a federal state that you say.

I agree, but don't think it will be the end of the struggle, the struggle came bfore VP and will be well after is the GOSL doe snot pander to nationalism. |
