Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation (AEOI) announced that the Natanz nuclear facility in central Iran has faced another attack this morning. In a statement shared by Iranian news sources, the organization mentioned that they conducted "technical and specialist assessments" to check for radioactive contamination. They reported that "no leakage of radioactive materials has been detected at this facility, and there is no risk to nearby residents." The AEOI condemned the incident, stating it violates the NPT (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) and other nuclear safety and security regulations. Previously, the AEOI admitted to an attack on Natanz and indicated on March 3 that no radioactive material had been released following strikes on the facility two days earlier. In June, the United States bombed three nuclear sites—Natanz, Fordo, and Isfahan—after which President Trump claimed that the strikes "totally obliterated" Iran's nuclear program.
