Israel weakening Iran regime to give people chance to remove it- Israeli PM Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Tuesday about the recent targeted killings of important Iranian leaders, including Ali Larijani, who heads the National Security Council, and Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Basij forces. Netanyahu stated that Israel is working to weaken the Iranian government in hopes that the people of Iran will have a chance to overthrow it. In a pre-recorded video message, he referred to Larijani as the leader of the Revolutionary Guards, describing them as "a group of thugs who actually control Iran." He characterized Soleimani as one of those who instill fear in the streets of Tehran and other cities against their own citizens. Netanyahu also mentioned that he had a conversation with US President Donald Trump the previous day about working together with American allies in the Gulf region. "We are supporting our American friends in the Gulf," he said. "There is collaboration between our air and naval forces, along with President Trump and his team. We will provide assistance through indirect attacks to apply great pressure on the Iranian regime and through direct actions." He ended by suggesting that more actions are planned: "There are many surprises to come. With smart strategies, we will conduct warfare. We won’t disclose all our plans, but as I said, there are many more."
