A small earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter Scale was detected in the waters near Mullaitivu, according to the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau. The GSMB also noted that there is no tsunami warning in place. This minor tremor was registered around 3:49 p.m. today (31).
