The Ministry of Health stated that the number of patients visiting the out patients department (OPD) Â at the Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital has increased.
While a total of 186 patients visited the OPD on the first day of its service, a total of 350 patients arrived at the OPD yesterday (2).
Since the 1 of August 2017, the Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital provided its services free of charge to the public.
Meanwhile , the first director board meeting of the hospital was held yesterday (2), and was carried out under the patronage of the Health Minister, Rajitha Senaratne.
