One killed, two injured after Iranian missile hits central Israel

An Iranian missile attack in central Israel has resulted in one death and two injuries, as reported by Israeli medics on Monday. The national ambulance service, MDA, indicated that three individuals suffered severe injuries from shrapnel, with one later dying from those wounds, according to The Times of Israel. At a construction site, two men in their 40s were critically injured by shrapnel, and one of them did not survive. The other man was transported to a hospital. Additionally, at a different site in central Israel, a man in his 30s was reported to be seriously hurt, according to MDA. Tensions in the region rose last week when the US and Israel conducted a joint attack on Iran, which resulted in over 1,200 fatalities, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran launched drone and missile strikes against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations that host US military personnel.
