The Sri Lankan Embassy in Lebanon is helping Sri Lankans who need shelter due to intense airstrikes by Israel in Southern Beirut. They have set up temporary housing for at least 14 Sri Lankans who had to leave their homes because of the heavy bombing. According to the Embassy, no Sri Lankans have been hurt in the attacks in Lebanon. They also stated that all Sri Lankans are safe, and Embassy staff are keeping a close eye on the situation 24/7.
