Dubai officials have announced that debris from a drone that was intercepted led to a fire at the famous Burj Al Arab Hotel. This statement was released on Sunday, amid a series of Iranian strikes aimed at Gulf nations. The Dubai Media Office shared on its X account that “a drone was intercepted, and the debris caused a small fire on the outer part of the Burj Al Arab.” They added that Civil Defence teams quickly responded and managed to control the situation. Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries.
