Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Friday in New Delhi. Their meeting took place during the Global AI Impact Summit. He spoke with Netherlands Prime Minister Dick Schoof, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Swiss President Guy Parmelin, Greece's Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and French President Emmanuel Macron. They focused on enhancing cooperation in technology, trade, connectivity, and strategic areas. The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is the first global AI summit held in the Global South. It has gathered policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and civil society members to discuss responsible AI governance and promote inclusive technological progress.
