A search has begun to find two fishermen who went missing after leaving for a fishing trip early this morning, September 19, from Wella in Chilaw, according to police. The two men left at about 2:00 a.m. for a day of fishing. Their boat was later spotted drifting in the sea by other fishermen, who quickly informed the authorities on land. In response, search efforts have started to locate the missing fishermen. The men, aged 40 and 44, live in Chilaw. Their fishing boat has been brought back to shore.
