Three people have been taken into custody for their involvement in a shooting that occurred at Bodhiyawatte in Kohuwala, where a 16-year-old girl was hurt. On the night of January 30, two unknown gunmen rode a motorcycle and fired shots in front of a house in that area. The girl was injured and needed to go to the hospital. After the shooting, the Kohuwala Police and the Moratuwa Police Special Task Force (STF) began their investigation. They managed to arrest the three suspects in the Dematagoda and Wellampitiya police divisions and brought them to the Kohuwala Police. The suspects are aged 27, 32, and 35, and they live in the Colombo 09 and Colombo 12 areas, according to police reports.
