LNP – Notice to people who didn’t receive Rs. 2,000 allowance: Ministry
The Home Affairs Ministry today requested people who have not yet received the allowance of Rs. 2,000 to appeal through the respective Grama Niladhari in charge of their area of residence.
Ministry Secretary N.H.M. Chithrananda said, the people who have lost their livelihoods and don’t get any government allowance due to the imposition of quarantine curfew are only eligible for the allowance.
About 50% of those who are eligible for the allowance have already been paid Rs. 2,000, he said.
