Detention order on ex-SIS chief Suresh Sallay to continue
The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has instructed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to provide an update on May 20 regarding the investigation of the detained suspects, which includes the former Director of the State Intelligence Service, Major General (Retired) Suresh Sallay. He appeared in court today, the 22nd, for the case related to the Easter Sunday terror attacks. The court has decided that Suresh Sallay will continue to remain in detention, according to an Ada Derana reporter.
