Two close associates of Salindu Malshitha, known as “Panadura Kudu Salindu,” were arrested in the Payagala area. Initial investigations show that the suspects had been living in Payagala and were distributing drugs in nearby areas. They were caught during a special operation early this morning (21) in the Nirmalawatta and Kumburugoda regions of Payagala. This operation was based on information from the Walana Central Anti-Corruption Striking Force. The arrested men have been named as “Pettha” (Pathum) and “Kaviya” (Kavindu). Police seized 42,350 mg of “Ice” (crystal methamphetamine) from Pathum and 48,170 mg of “Ice” from Kavindu.
