The Iranian Red Crescent noted that at least 1,900 individuals have died in attacks on Iran since the conflict began. On March 16, Iran's foreign minister stated that “hundreds of Iranian civilians,” including over 200 children, have been killed during this time. In Lebanon, the Health Ministry reported that at least 1,247 people died from Israeli strikes since March 2, with at least 124 of those being children. Additionally, authorities reported 101 deaths in Iraq since the war started. In the Kurdistan Region, at least 13 people have lost their lives, according to the local government. Inside Israel, 19 civilians have died since the conflict began, along with six Israeli soldiers killed in southern Lebanon, as stated by the Israeli military. Furthermore, the US Central Command reported that 13 US service members have been killed since the beginning of the US war with Iran a month ago. Other countries in the region, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, the occupied West Bank, Oman, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, have also seen deaths linked to the conflict since February 28, according to local authorities. This ongoing situation continues to affect many lives in Sri Lanka and beyond.
