Warm weather is predicted to continue across Sri Lanka, according to the Department of Meteorology on March 30. Showers or thunderstorms may develop in some areas of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Northwestern provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts, after 2:00 PM. The rest of the island will mostly experience dry weather. In the early morning, misty conditions are likely in parts of the Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with Galle and Matara districts. The public is advised to take necessary precautions to reduce the risk of damage from sudden strong winds and lightning during thunderstorms.
