[Police yesterday blamed the organizers ]

It is interesting. Isn`t it the responsibility of Police to ensure the security?? along with other security forces.

What made police to blame organizers.../ for inviting a politician for a event that pull crowds.

For the sake of public safety, it`s wise to avoid places were politicians attend.

    Throwing innocent life`s to LTTE.

What rubbish to blame the organizers when the low-IQ Police did not do basic checks.

[Police investigations found that security arrangements had not been what they should have been for the visit of a government politician. ]

If the Police had made that assessment, they should have advised Fernandopulle to leave the scene immediately.

[Isn`t it the responsibility of Police to ensure the security?? along with other security forces.]

No, the responsibility of Sinhala Police is to earn money for themselves, abuse human rights, and protect the underworld. The Police had a high standard when there were Tamil, Malay, and Burgher officers.

[For the sake of public safety, it`s wise to avoid places were politicians attend. ]

People go after politicians because they want to show their face and get favours. That is the reality of life in a failed state.

Providing security is the job description of the bodyguards and police or thugs or whoever is paid to do it. I can hardly imagine how it should be the responsibility of the event organisers. If this is the case there is no point in MSD or PSD taking up positions within buildings or rallies when the president is attending, as hopefully the organisers would have taken care of it all.

Talk about blaming someone else for their own fault.

`Police blame organizers...` What a bunch of losers. What an irresponsible statement given by the Police. No wonder the Country is going to the dogs day by day. When will we ever rise up as a nation i the region. We need a `mind cleansing` to sweep across our nation ans its leaders.

    [Police blame organizers]

That`s the GOOD thing about any mishap in Sri Lanka, there is always Somebody to pin the blame on Anybody and Nobody ultimately takes responsiblity!

Somebody and Nobody are doing a wonderful job in Sri Lanka and Anybody and Everybody seem satisfied!
