Some 50 hurt in fire at car parts factory in South Korea

A fire at a car parts factory in Daejeon, South Korea, has resulted in injuries to 50 individuals, with 35 of them suffering serious harm, as reported by the Yonhap News Agency on Friday. The National Fire Agency has called for a nationwide response to control the fire in Daejeon, located roughly 160 km (99.42 miles) south of Seoul, the capital. The agency expressed worries that the number of injured could increase. Approximately 240 firefighters were sent to extinguish the flames, according to Yonhap. Prime Minister Kim Min-seok emphasized that saving lives should be the main focus, as noted by Yonhap. A representative from the National Fire Agency was not immediately available for comments.
