A person was detained in Kotadeniyawa for having illegal drugs, specifically heroin and Crystal Methamphetamine, also known as ‘Ice’. Police reported that during a raid on the 15th of this month in the Hapuwalana neighborhood of Kotadeniyawa, they found the suspect with 225 grams of heroin and 165 grams of ‘Ice’. The individual is a 37-year-old local resident, according to authorities. The Kotadeniyawa Police are still investigating the case. In another operation, a 22-year-old was arrested in Ahungalla with 261 grams and 620 milligrams of ‘Ice’, police added.
