The Sri Lanka Navy has arrested five individuals and seized a local multi-day fishing boat believed to be carrying bags that may contain illegal drugs. The operation was conducted by the Navy’s Offshore Patrol Squadron in waters south of Dondra. The suspects and the fishing vessel are being brought to shore for further investigation and legal proceedings, according to the Navy.
