The Sri Lanka Navy seized a local multi-day fishing trawler in the southern seas last night (07) and found over 102 kilograms of heroin on board. The fishing trawler and its crew were taken to Dikkowita Harbor today. After examinations, it was confirmed that the sacks thought to contain drugs were indeed filled with heroin. Additionally, naval and investigative teams discovered about 900 grams of cocaine on the trawler.
