Donald Trump rates Iran war 15 out of 10
On Wednesday, March 4, United States President Donald Trump rated the US efforts in the war against Iran as a 15 out of 10. He stated that the leaders of Iran were being killed quickly and promised to keep going. His remarks were made as the conflict entered its fifth day, during which a US submarine sank an Iranian warship near Sri Lanka, alongside new explosions reported throughout the Middle East. Trump addressed tech industry leaders at the White House, saying, “We’re performing well in the war, to say the least. When asked to rate it from 10, I said it’s about a 15.” He expressed confidence, noting that Iran's leadership was diminishing rapidly. “Anyone who seems to want to lead ends up dead,” he added. Trump also mentioned that Iran's stockpile of ballistic missiles was being quickly destroyed. He reiterated his reasons for the attack, claiming Iran was close to getting a nuclear weapon. “When unstable people have nuclear arms, bad things occur,” Trump remarked. He assured that he would “move forward” with the air campaign in cooperation with Israel, which had already resulted in the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on the first day of the operation. His administration has faced backlash due to inconsistent messages regarding the reasons for the war, especially considering his past statements about avoiding “new wars.”
