A bus driver has died after a head-on crash involving two private buses on Moronthuduwa Road in Wadduwa this morning (24). According to police, the accident happened early today when the two buses collided. At the time of the incident, there were no passengers on either bus, as reported by Ada Derana. Both drivers were hurt and taken to Panadura Base Hospital for care, but one driver’s condition was critical. Authorities believe the crash occurred when one bus tried to overtake another vehicle. This accident caused traffic delays on the Panadura–Moronthuduwa Road in the Malegama area. The Wadduwa Police are still looking into the situation.
