Madampitiya Police have arrested two men for having 1 kilogram and 501 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, commonly known as 'Ice'. This happened this morning (22) when police found the two men acting suspiciously inside a three-wheeler parked near the Sathhiru Sevana apartment complex in Madampitiya. The suspects, aged 24 and 29, live in Wellampitiya and Colombo, according to police. During the search, officers found a bag with 'Ice', an electronic weighing scale, and Rs. 18,000, which is believed to be money earned from drug trafficking, with one suspect. The other suspect had an additional 201 grams of 'Ice'. The Madampitiya Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
