A van carrying foreign tourists was involved in an accident near Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya on the Welimada main road, according to police. The crash happened yesterday (15) around 3:00 p.m. A van coming from Welimada towards Katunayake lost control while speeding. It swerved out of its lane and hit another van that was transporting tourists. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but both vehicles were badly damaged in the accident, as reported by Ada Derana. The Traffic Division of Nuwara Eliya Police is looking into the matter further.
