A generator at the Norochcholai Power Plant in Sri Lanka, which was offline for maintenance, is now back in operation. However, the electricity from this unit has not yet been added to the national grid. It is expected that the connection will be made in the coming days. The Norochcholai Power Plant has three generators that together provide 900 megawatts to the national power grid. Currently, only one generator is supplying electricity to the grid. Another generator is still not working, and efforts are being made to get it up and running again.
