Heads of all government institutions have been instructed to advise their employees to wear face masks as a precautionary measure against the potential spread of Influenza and COVID-19. This directive was issued through an official circular by Western Province Deputy Chief Secretary B.N. Damminda Kumara.  “In light of the increasing number of reported cases of Influenza and the continued threat posed by COVID-19, it is essential to adopt preventive measures to safeguard public health,” the circular stated.
