Two people, including a woman, have been taken into custody for running a heroin operation disguised as a funeral parlor in Sri Lanka. The Panadura North Police made the arrests on the 25th of yesterday during a raid based on a tip. Authorities seized 21 grams of heroin during the operation. The male suspect is 39 years old, and his mother, who was also arrested, is 69 years old. The police are continuing their investigation under the Money Laundering Act. The pair is set to appear in the Panadura Magistrate’s Court today, the 26th.
