This is a grave situation in Sri Lanka. The fault partly lies with the dated RMV method of obtaining the driving license. Now any body even with little experience actually driving in day to day traffic can get a driving license. This results in many inexperienced driving plying our roads with no sufficient experience to avoid accidents while driving. It is the reaction time they need to improve. Also driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol is another problem altogether.
