Schools to re-open on Monday

The Education Ministry has extended the April school vacation for government and private schools. Schools will recommence for the second term on Monday, April 29.
Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam told the Daily News yesterday that the vacation was extended considering the prevailing situation in the country.
The internal examinations of all National Colleges of Education will be held on April 26.
