Air India Group to operate 24 flights to West Asia today; several routes remain suspended
The Air India Group announced that it will run 24 flights to and from the West region today. However, some routes are still temporarily not operating, as stated in an Air India press release. The airline's flights will include both Air India and Air India Express, featuring scheduled services to Jeddah and Muscat, along with extra non-scheduled flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Both airlines will keep their regular flights to Jeddah, with a total of 10 flights operating between India and Jeddah. Air India will provide one return flight from Delhi and two from Mumbai. Air India Express will have one flight each from Hyderabad and Kozhikode. Additionally, Air India Express will run four scheduled flights to and from Muscat, including those from Delhi and Mumbai. Moreover, the Air India Group plans to operate 10 non-scheduled flights to and from the UAE, depending on slot availability and current conditions at departure points. The airline confirmed that these flights have received the necessary approvals from both Indian and local regulatory bodies. In Dubai, there are no regular scheduled flights, but Air India and Air India Express are running ad hoc flights to Delhi. In Abu Dhabi, there are also no scheduled services, but Air India Express is operating ad hoc flights to Delhi, Kozhikode, and Mumbai. All flights to Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Al Ain are currently suspended, according to the press release. In Oman, regular scheduled flights are active in Muscat, where Air India Express operates flights to Delhi and Mumbai. However, all flights to Salalah are suspended.
