A group of 200 Indian tourists has successfully returned home after being evacuated from the United Arab Emirates. They had traveled to the UAE to see Hindu temples but found themselves stuck due to the outbreak of war. Yogi Overseas, the travel agency that organized the trip, reported that flight delays left the group waiting for days. Kaushal Damesha, the head of the tour company, stated, “Our main concern was to ensure that all the passengers remained calm and comfortable.” While Damesha and some tour guides remained in Dubai, they ensured that the travelers could leave safely. Among the group were seniors and children, according to Damesha. “Our tour manager engaged with the passengers, played games, and helped keep their spirits up,” he added. After requesting flights from the UAE to various locations in India, the last members of the tour group were picked up today and are now on their way home.
