A general from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard stated on Tuesday that if the US and Israel continue their attacks, Iran will respond by targeting “all economic hubs” in the Middle East. Ebrahim Jabbari warned, “We are telling the enemy that if it attacks our main locations, we will strike all economic centers in the region.” He mentioned that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed. Currently, oil prices are over US$80 and are expected to rise to US$200 soon. This statement was reported by the Iranian news agency ISNA, as Brent crude oil reached above US$85 for the first time since July 2024.
