Gold prices in Sri Lanka have fallen by Rs. 13,000, influenced by a decline in the global gold market, as per the latest market information. This morning (04), the cost of a 22-carat gold sovereign at the Sea Street gold market in Colombo is now Rs. 376,500, down from yesterday’s (03) price of Rs. 388,500. Additionally, traders noted that the price of a 24-carat gold sovereign has decreased from Rs. 420,000 yesterday to Rs. 407,000 today.
