Foreign-made pistol and ammunition recovered near cemetery in Katana

Police have found a foreign-made pistol and four rounds of ammunition hidden in bushes along a by-road close to the Mahayaya Waththa cemetery in Katana. This discovery was made during a special operation by officers from the Negombo Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau. Authorities are now looking into whether the gun was concealed with the intent to commit a crime. The Katana Police Station is working with the Negombo Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau to continue the investigation into this incident.
