President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will travel to India tomorrow, February 17, to participate in the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. He received an invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend this important event. The summit, sponsored by Prime Minister Modi, aims to encourage the responsible use of artificial intelligence for the good of humanity. According to a statement from the President’s Media Division, Dissanayake is set to speak at the event on February 19. This five-day summit will gather Heads of State from 20 countries along with representatives from over 45 nations. Discussions will focus on the future of artificial intelligence technology and how it can help solve global problems. While in India, the President is also expected to meet with Prime Minister Modi and other world leaders.
