The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has detained a former Deputy Commissioner from the Motor Vehicle Transfer Division of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) in Sri Lanka. The arrest happened yesterday, on the 12th of the month. The woman, who now works at the Department of Trade and Investment Policies under the Ministry of Finance, was taken in as part of an investigation that started after the Bribery Commission received information.
