The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel has urged citizens living in the country to stay alert due to increasing security concerns in the Middle East. Nimal Bandara, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel, mentioned that the Israel Defense Forces are prepared to act against any possible threats. The Israeli Ministry of Defense will keep providing updates and safety guidelines. The advisory states that alerts about missile strikes will be sent to all smartphones. If a warning siren is activated, people should quickly find shelter in the nearest safe area, according to the Embassy. Considering the current situation, the Embassy will be open today (31) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to offer regular consular services.
